Understanding Numerology: The Personality and Maturity Numbers

The Personality Number
The best way to think about the Personality Number is to equate it with first impressions because it allows you to see yourself as others see you.
The Personality Number is calculated using the consonants of a person's birth name. Similar to the Soul Number, the letter "Y" is only considered to be a consonant when it is silent. Good examples are in the first names Ray, Maya and Tanya.
By this point, you should have a good idea of how to calculate the numbers, so we won't go through any examples here. Just remember that when you do calculate the Personality Number, you should use the person's first and last names as they appear on their birth certificate.
What the Numbers Mean
Personality Number 1 - People with this Personality Number are dynamic, efficient, controlled and capable. Personality Number 1s are often characterized as pioneers and have their own distinct way of doing things. Because of this, care needs to be taken to ensure actions are not misinterpreted as being overly aggressive or intimidating.
Personality Number 2 - People with this personality Number are characterized as being friendly and unpretentious and can easily draw others to them with their warm and inviting presence. Patience and understanding are also key characteristics. Personality Number 2s are particularly concerned with their personal appearance and take the time needed to dress and groom well.
Personality Number 3 - People with this Personality Number are usually quite attractive and have a tremendous appreciation for finer things such as clothing and jewelry. Often characterized as being uplifting, inspiring and charming, Personality Number 3s are usually fun people to spend time with. Because of this, however, deep and lasting relationships typically require a little more work.
Personality Number 4 - Reliability and consistency describe people with this Personality Number. These are the people that others trust implicitly and with whom they feel most secure. Always careful spenders, people with this Personality Number are concerned with the security of their future, they are deeply patriotic and can usually be found filling some important role within their community.
Personality Number 5 - People with this Personality Number are stimulating and engaging and have a great deal of nervous energy. They view life as an ongoing adventure and are typically athletic. On the downside, Personality Number 5s are drawn to anything that feeds their senses, including food, alcohol, drugs and sex and often indulge in these to an excess.
Personality Number 6 - People with a Personality Number of 6 are understanding and compassionate and tend to attract people who are in need of comfort. Other characteristics include being artistic, romantic, faithful, protective, and having an excellent sense of color and taste. Because they value peace and harmony, Personality Number 6s will often sacrifice their own needs for the good of others.
Personality Number 7 - Those with a Personality Number of 7 are seen as being mysterious and different, making them difficult to get to know. Highly independent and self-sufficient, Personality Number 7s exude a great deal of confidence, wisdom and even spirituality. Seen by some as being arrogant, care has to be taken to not offend others.
Personality Number 8 - Those with a Personality Number of 8 are seen as strong, powerful and above all, confident. Quality is important to people with this Personality Number and it is often reflected in the way they dress. On the downside, Personality Number 8s can be egocentric and adopt greedy, ruthless behaviors.
Personality Number 9 - Those with this Personality Number are characterized as being elegant, graceful and charismatic. Unfortunately, these qualities can cause some to believe they are better than others. Better suited for working with crowds rather than individuals, Personality Number 9s are often performers. Other characteristics include being sympathetic, compassionate, and benevolent.
Master Personality Number 11 - People with this Personality Number, while extremely sensitive and intuitive, can also be quite shy. Seen by most as gentle and warm, people with this Personality Number are patient and understanding and above all, seek peace and harmony. Other characteristics include a fine sense of beauty and excellent taste in food, clothing and home decor.
Master Personality Number 22 - People with this Personality Number are intelligent, sensitive, and creative. Seen as reliable and dependable, Personality Number 22s value correctness, control and consistency, family life and patriotism. Their goal is often to create or be involved in something that will have lasting importance or significance.
Because it is rare to see Personality Numbers higher than 22, there is not much known about the remaining Master Numbers.
The Maturity Number
The fifth and final core number in the Numerology Profile is the Maturity Number. This number tells us how the attributes a person cultivated during their lifetime might be used toward the betterment of society. It also indicates the extent to which a person may expect to lead a meaningful, satisfying and happy life as they enter their later years. As a result, the energies associated with this number usually do not appear until one approaches the mid-point of their life which is usually also the time at which most individuals finally begin to truly understand themselves.
The Maturity Number is calculated by combining the energies of the Destiny and Life Path Numbers:
Destiny Number + Life Path Number = Maturity Number.
It's that simple.

The Meanings of the Maturity Number
So, what does the Maturity Number mean? Let's take a look.
Maturity Number 1 - Those with a Maturity Number of 1 can expect to learn leadership qualities early in their life. As a result, they are usually the ones who most often identify what needs to be done and the developing a plan for making sure it is finished. They are often seen as being set in their ways which, at times, makes them a little difficult to deal with. In their later years, Personality Number 1s will work hard to ensure they maintain their independence and self-sufficiency.
Maturity Number 2 - Those with a Maturity Number of 2 have a natural ability of attracting people who want to support their efforts. However, in order for a person with this Maturity Number to succeed in relationships, they need to learn how to give as well as take. Inherent abilities in music, painting, writing or dancing should be cultivated early, otherwise regrets may come in later years. Happiness is found by ensuring there is harmony within their life. In their later years, Maturity Number 2s will find themselves in the company of another person, rather than living alone.
Maturity Number 3 - Those with a Maturity Number of 3 have an active imagination and a strong creative spirit and are happiest when these gifts are used frequently. In their later years, Maturity Number 3s can expect to be permitted to spend time with friends and enjoying creative pursuits.
Maturity Number 4 - Those with a Maturity Number of 4 will learn the importance of hard work and discipline in their early years. They will take these lessons into their later years and attempt to create or contribute something of lasting value to society. In their later years, the Maturity Number 4 will use the skills they developed during their lifetime to approach any developing health issues with a well-organized plan.

In their later years, the Maturity Number 6 will find themselves happy, contented and surrounded by their family.
Maturity Number 7 - Those with a Maturity Number of 7 will approach life in their own style and as a result, are often characterized as "marching to the beat of a different drummer". People with this Maturity Number value solitude and prefer to focus their efforts on one activity rather than pursuing many. In their later years, the Maturity Number 7 will often be sought out by others for their wisdom and guidance.
Maturity Number 8 - Those with a Maturity Number of 8 will work hard to find a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of life. With the ability to see the big picture, they are often the leaders because it is through leadership that they are able to put their organizational skills to work. In their later years, the Maturity Number 8 will likely find themselves continuing to direct and lead activities.
Maturity Number 9 - Those with a Maturity Number of 9 will probably be faced with a life that is filled with challenges, specifically with respect to finding the right ways to use their compassion and humanitarian gifts. In their later years, the Maturity Number 9 will use their gifts in ways to better the world in which they live.
Master Maturity Number 11 - People with this Master Maturity Number are highly self-aware and are usually wise beyond their years. In their later years, Master Maturity Number 11s usually pursue interests in the spiritual, health and nutrition areas.

Calculating and analyzing the five Core Numerology Numbers are just a small part of Numerology. Now that you know how to calculate these numbers and what they mean, it is time to put them to work to help predict what the future may have in store for us.
As their names imply, the Pinnacle and Challenge Numbers tell us about our potential for achievement and identify the difficulties we may encounter along the way. We'll begin with the Pinnacle Numbers.
Pinnacle Numbers

Remember, the objective of Numerology is to predict major life changes - or pinnacles - in our lives. These big transformations are necessary to prevent the apathy and ambivalence that would almost certainly occur if life were to continue along at a predictable pace.
The Pinnacle Number tells us what to expect in the future. Having this information can help us to fully achieve our goals, hopes and dreams.
Each person has four Pinnacle Numbers:
First Pinnacle - The First Pinnacle typically covers the period from birth through age 27 however in some individuals, this period can last through age 35. It is calculated by adding together your month of birth and date of birth. To find out how long your First Pinnacle period will last, simply subtract your Life Path Number from 36.
Second Pinnacle - The Second Pinnacle is nine years in length and is referred to as a period of blossoming and ripening. This is typically the period in one's life when family obligations are in the forefront of their being. It is calculated by adding together your date of birth and year of birth. To find out how long your Second Pinnacle will last, add nine to your age at the end of your First Pinnacle (as calculated above).
Third Pinnacle - The Third Pinnacle is also nine years in length and typically occurs during one's middle-age years. This period is frequently referred to as a time of manifestation and reward. It is calculated by adding together the First Pinnacle and Second Pinnacle numbers. To find out how long your Third Pinnacle will last, add nine to your age at the end of your Second Pinnacle (as calculated above).
Fourth Pinnacle - The Fourth Pinnacle usually begins at around age 50 and lasts for the duration of one's life. This period is frequently referred to as a time of aging, reflection and wisdom. It is calculated by adding together the month of birth and the year of birth. Your Fourth Pinnacle will last for the duration of your life; there is no calculation involved.
Working with Pinnacle Numbers is a little different than working with the other numbers we've discussed so far. One of the key differences is that while all double-digit numbers are reduced, Master Numbers are not. This is because the appearance of a Master Number indicates that it is time for the individual to "step up to the plate" and show their true abilities.
By now, you should have had enough practice calculating numbers, so we will not provide an example here. However, before continuing, take a few minutes to calculate your four Pinnacle Numbers.
What the Pinnacle Numbers Mean
Pinnacle Number 1 - This number is influenced by a driving need for independence, the desire to use original ideas, the ability to lead and direct others, and being recognized for one's achievements.
Pinnacle Number 2 - This number is influenced by the forces of friendliness, cooperation, harmony and attention to detail. It is during this Pinnacle Number that sensitivity is usually at its peak.
Pinnacle Number 3 - This number is influenced by travel, social activities, friends and entertainment as well as an affectionate and outgoing nature.
Pinnacle Number 4 - This number is influenced by a practical, realistic approach to life and is characterized by a high level of order and organization.
Pinnacle Number 5 - This number is influenced by an increase in freedom and a corresponding decrease in responsibility. There is also an increased chance of sudden and unexpected change associated with this number.
Pinnacle Number 6 - This number is influenced by responsibility and a close connection with home, family and children.
Pinnacle Number 7 - This number is influenced by learning, investigating and gaining skills and is generally characterized as a time of transition.
Pinnacle Number 8 - This number is influenced by business and commercial activity, status, success and recognition. Positive changes in one's financial status often occur when this number is present.
Pinnacle Number 9 - This number is influenced by humanitarianism and a genuine concern for the weak, poor and less fortunate.
Master Number 11/2 Pinnacle - Because this number is indicative of a time of extraordinary sensitivity, care must be taken to ensure balance is maintained. People in this Pinnacle have the desire to uplift, inspire, and share their revelations.
Master Number 22/4 Pinnacle - This number is influenced by a need to build something of lasting value and to do good work that will benefit humankind.
Master Number 33/6 Pinnacle - This number occurs only rarely and usually occurs after some sort of major change in consciousness has happened.
Challenge Numbers
We all know that life isn't without its challenges. In Numerology, the Challenge Numbers help us to find a way to maintain our equilibrium even when the going gets tough.
It is important to realize that Challenge Numbers do not exist to warn us about the things we need to overcome in our lifetime; rather, they help us to see who or what we must become in order to be successful.
There are four Challenge Numbers which occur during the same periods as the Pinnacle Numbers. The Challenge Numbers are calculated as follows:
First Challenge Number - The month of birth is subtracted from the day of birth
Second Challenge Number - The day of birth is subtracted from the year of birth
Third Challenge Number - The First Challenge Number is subtracted from the Second Challenge Number.
Fourth Challenge Number - The month of birth is subtracted from the year of birth
Up until this point, we have always added two (or more) numbers together to obtain our numbers. Since calculating the Challenge Number requires us to subtract, there exists the possibility that we will end up with a negative number. If this occurs, simply ignore the negative sign and convert the number to a positive. Thus, -3 becomes 3, -5 becomes 5 and so on.
There also exists the possibility that one of the Challenge Numbers can be zero. This is perfectly fine; many Numerology experts believe that zero is indicative of an "old soul" - someone who have returned through many lifetimes and bring with them the wisdom and spiritual knowledge of someone who has experienced life. It is also believed that a Challenge Number zero leaves its owner open to the challenges of all the other numbers.
Similarly, there is no Challenge Number 9 because 9 is the highest number that can appear anywhere in a birth date (remember, the numbers for October, November and December are reduced to single digits) and all other numbers are subtracted from it. For the same reason, there are no Master Challenge Numbers.
Challenge Number 1 - The challenge of this number is to avoid being dominated without being disagreeable. Those with this number often need to work hard to keep their egos in check and should rely on their wit and intelligence to get them through the rough spots.
Challenge Number 2 - The challenge of this number is to be assertive in the decision making process and refrain from taking things too personally. While there will be the tendency to shy away from authority and responsibility, these challenges must be faced head-on.
Challenge Number 3 - The challenge of this number is to remember to cultivate friends and be sociable while maintaining involvement with activities that include writing, acting or speaking. Fear of criticism is always present which often manifests itself in an air of shyness.
Challenge Number 4 - The challenge of this number is to be able to complete tasks efficiently, learn patience, understanding and the practical, common sense way of dealing with the mundane responsibilities of life.
Challenge Number 5 - The challenge of this number is to overcome the desire and demand for freedom at any price. It is important to refrain from impulsive acts and attempt to maintain some sort of stability. Care should also be taken to ensure that any desire for change that may be present isn't actually a desire to escape responsibility.
Challenge Number 6 - The challenge of this number is to be able to compromise one's high standards without appearing as authoritarian, intolerant, and self-righteous. It is important to avoid creating friction in relationships while attempting to achieve balance in situations.
Challenge Number 7 - The challenge of this number is the tendency to dwell on one's limitations. This number is characterized by a discomfort with one's own inner feelings and a belief that one's situation cannot be improved.
Challenge Number 8 - The challenge of this number is a belief that happiness comes only from material wealth. There is an enormous focus on money, status and power which must be balanced with other life matters.

Maturity Number

This is how you get your Maturity Number: take your Destiny Number, add it to your Life Path Number, and reduce it to one digit.

The 1 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 1 Maturity Number: A 1 Maturity Number consists of people who, as they have gotten older, feel the need to make a mark on the world that is uniquely their own. So if you are married to someone who is a 1 Maturity Number, and right now they seem not as disciplined as you’d like, just know that this will change as they get older. They can’t escape their Maturity Number. That 1 Vibration is going to show up, and it’s going to help them make a difference in the latter part of their life. The 1 Maturity Number will become more passionate, more excited, and more determined to do something with their life. If they have other 1 Vibrations in their Numerology Blueprint, maybe a 1 Life Path, then you may have already seen some of this in their behavior, but as they mature this will intensify. So, that can be very good news for you. On the down side, their ambitions can make them appear overbearing. Encourage them to think before they speak to people, as it really isn’t their intention to be offensive.

The 2 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 2 Maturity Number: The 2 Maturity Number will be somebody who, if he or she has not already done so, will now find love. Perhaps earlier on they couldn’t meet the right person, but as they get older, they come into a loving, healing relationship. It also means that the gift of intuition, that gut instinct of knowing what is true, will become much stronger. Whatever those hard lessons were in the 2 Maturity Number’s life, as they get older, they are just going to have a natural sense of what is the right thing to do. I think the 2 Maturity Number is a huge blessing, and ultimately, there will be more harmony in the life of this person. So if you are in love with someone with that Maturity Number, know that is where they are headed. You may not see this in your loved one right now, maybe they seem frustrated and angry, but all of that will calm down as they get older.

The 3 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 3 Maturity Number: The 3 Maturity Number is a good Vibration, because it is about lightening up; it is about getting in touch with that inner child, having a lot more fun, and becoming more social. They have more time to spend listening to good music, going to nice parties, and getting to know people. Let’s say that their Life Path Number is a 4 or an 8, and that they have had some negative intensity in the earlier part of life. With this 3 Vibration, they are bound to get to a happier place. The 3 Maturity Number will make more friends as they get older. For someone who is in love with the 3 Maturity Number, if this person is too uptight right now, just know that they will loosen up. They may also get in touch with their creative side, writing their memoirs or joining their church choir to sing their heart out. The 3 Vibration finds ways to express itself, as this Maturity Number comes into play.

The 4 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 4 Maturity Number: The 4 Maturity Number does invite someone with whom you can share your life. If their Life Path is a 1, 5, or 7 -- high energy Vibrations -- the 4 can calm that down. As they get older and come into their own, they just get more practical about knowing what they want. When they have an idea, they will follow through with it, instead of feeling as though they are always out of time. It is really a remarkable Vibration for establishing that nest egg for the future. The 4 Maturity Number has to guard against becoming too narrowminded or opinionated. They may give people a hard time for what they believe, especially if it is not in alignment with what the 4 believes.

The 5 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 5 Maturity Number: A 5 Maturity Number means “fasten your seatbelts.” As they get older, life will become more exciting. They will realize that they are free to do things they never had time to do before. I think of those mothers and fathers who raised their children and who were so responsible: it is finally their time to play. The 5 Maturity Number will have time to experience the world. They will try foods they have never eaten before, change their hairdos, and look at life with childlike wonder. You’ll hear them exclaiming, “Wow, I am so glad I did all this before my life was over.” The 5 must be careful not to overwhelm themselves with too many ideas. They could then be tempted to just throw up their arms and say, “The heck with it!” They should pick one thing, focus on it, and go for it. Then focus on one more, and so on. As they grow older, their life becomes an ever more exciting endeavor. The 5 Maturity Number is all about living life to the fullest.

The 6 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 6 Maturity Number: This Number encourages these people in their later years to have a deeper connection with their friends, family, and even their community. They feel this nurturing need to make sure that others are taken care of, not just themselves. Financially, they will create a personal nest egg and will also be willing to give to charities and anything else they feel will make a difference in our world. Maybe they were just too busy in their earlier years to form close relationships and find they have time now. By the time their life is over, there will be many people who love and value them. This is especially true if they didn’t have 6s in the rest of their Chart, and a 6 showed up in their Maturity Number. They will find the 6 Maturity Number to be a real blessing in later years.

The 7 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 7 Maturity Number: As these folks get older, they find themselves contemplating the big questions in life, and they will do whatever they can to get the answers they seek. If the Maturity Number is the only 7 in their chart, it’s all about finding their spiritual base. With the 7 Maturity Number, they will be asking, "Why do I exist?” Now, if they already have a 7 Vibration or two in those six Numbers that make up their Numerology Blueprint, they have to be careful not to become complete hermits, ditch their loved ones, and simply focus on the need to seek answers to all of those unanswered questions. The 7 Maturity Number will encourage them to trust their intuition. They have a natural psychic ability to discern what is true and what isn’t. They will not waste time putting up with someone who is not sincere. They have no time for it, and just want a partner who knows what he or she is talking about. If you love someone with the 7 Maturity Number and it’s not a Natural Match to yours, just know that solitude is a part of them. If you cannot have long periods of silence with your partner, you have to keep in mind how that will affect the long-term part of your relationship.

The 8 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is an 8 Maturity Number: This time of life is about establishing financial success once and for all. They will come into that feeling of, “I’m alright, and I’m handled.” One lesson for the 8 Maturity Number is to learn to disconnect with the money, and not to get caught up in how much more money they can make. It is about embracing the fact that they have enough for themselves and enough to help other people as well. Their homes and their surroundings will matter to them. After working so hard to accomplish their financial goals, they can now relax and enjoy the freedom it provides. If they do this, they are going to be very happy with the Vibration of that 8 Maturity Number. If they do have the 8 Vibration somewhere else in their Numerology Blueprint, you may have seen them struggling to establish financial security. This ease with money will show up later in their lives, as their 8 Maturity Number starts to kick in. So if you know one that is struggling right now, just be aware that in later life, there is a good chance that it won’t be an issue.

The 9 Maturity Number
If the person you are interested in is a 9 Maturity Number: The 9 Maturity Number feels called upon to leave the world a better place than when they found it. As they get older, this is going to be an even more important priority. Think of a disaster like Hurricane Katrina or the tsunami of 2004, someone with a 9 Maturity Number would fly there to offer help, or at least contribute all their spare money to the victims if they couldn’t get there. They will organize others for the task as well, and see that they carry through with the mission. If there are 9s elsewhere in their Numerology Blueprint, then this has already been part of their life purpose. One of the things they have to overcome, if they are a 9 Maturity Number, is any resentment of unfair treatment in their childhoods. As they get older, they will realize that we are all connected and ask themselves what they can do to leave their mark in a positive way. If you love someone who has the 9 Maturity Number, but has a Personal Numerology Chart filled with more self-centered Energy, be aware that they will become more involved in unselfish service to others in their later years. Just be prepared to join them on their journey and be willing to abandon some of your own selfish desires for the greater good. If your Personal Numerology Charts are in sync, then this can be an exhilarating time for both of you.

Inner Planets to Angles: Electric Bolts from the Blue

By

We’ve all felt it at one time or another, that feeling of instant ‘ooo la la.’ Our eyes meet another’s, we feel a frisson of electricity, and then we know. We’re at home, at peace, and it feels good to be known. We’re complete. This is the ‘other’ we’ve been waiting for.

There are a lot of aspects that are responsible for this kind of sudden attraction, usually from the outer planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The “three bullies,” as I call them, all act as magnets when they attach themselves to one of our more personal or sensitive areas.

But the most potent, and dependable, source of attraction is something a lot of people don’t pay enough attention to in synastry, and that is planetary contact with the angles and angle rulers. (The “angles” are the Ascendant, IC or Imum Coeli, the Descendant, and the MC or Medium Coeli.) It doesn’t matter what planet it is; if it falls on your angles from someone else’s chart you will feel it immediately, and often profoundly. And because the angles are what they are, they provide a kind of intimacy that often eludes the outer planet attractions.

Angle Ruler Contacts

Comparison of angles and angle ruler contacts used to be considered crucial in synastry. In fact, it used to be an astrological ‘rule’ that you couldn’t have a long-term relationship unless the angles of one person hit the relationship planets (Venus-Mars, Moon-Saturn and the Sun) of another, or the angle rulers were in contact, in some way.

The Sun and the Moon are a natural archetypal pairing, much like Yin and Yang. But the other planets here are considered relationship planets because they have to do with our relations with the external world. We have the polarity of Aries-Libra, and their natural association with the Ascendant/Descendant and ‘Self’ versus ‘Other.’ But we also have the polarity of Cancer-Capricorn and Moon-Saturn. This is the polarity of ‘inside’ (Moon) versus ‘outside’ (Saturn): What I have within versus what I must make of myself. And these are the natural rulers of the fourth and tenth houses, representative of yet another angle, the MC/IC (Imum Coeli/Medium Coeli). Who can deny that both conditioning (IC) and status/growth (MC) play their part in our attractions?

Angles and the Cardinal Cross

In essence, our relationships are determined by the archetype of the cardinal cross. Cardinal signs are known by the keyword ‘initiation.’ In other words, our cardinal houses, and our angles, get things going. This is how love makes the world go round. It’s no accident that our relationships are often the greatest spur to our spiritual growth.

But, for some reason, angles are not treated with the respect that they deserve. While we’re all busy figuring out the meaning of the midpoint between Ceres and the Black Moon, the angles languish in confusion and anonymity. A lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of the rising sign itself, and mostly we relegate each angle half to one or two keywords: the Ascendant is ‘the mask,’ the IC represents ‘family,’ the Descendant is ‘partner,’ and the MC is ‘career.’ What a sad and simplistic description for so dynamic and active a cross.

Angle Calculations

Our angles are gateways to our own becoming, which is why they are so potent in relationship ties. Angles aren’t static, but are descriptive of who we are as a work in progress. (In fact, you can see this clearly if you work with secondary progressions, in which the role of the angles becomes crystal clear.) When something touches our angles, it touches the deepest part of our experience as human beings. Angles open up the floodgate of meaningful experience. This is why transits to angles are often more potent than transits to planets.

Angles are as sensitive as antennae, as raw as nerves, and as responsive as fuel to a flame. Angles are calculated by a measurement of time and space. Time and space create our material reality. In a natal chart, this cross of matter intersects the eternal spirit (the circle). Ultimately, they represent how we negotiate our time on this earth. The natal chart is a diagram of the way our eternal spirit connects and evolves through our earthly experience. Without angles, we have no compass. We have no North to guide us.

One of the reasons astrology places so much emphasis on the angles in synastry, is that when angle meets planet there is constant stimulation. If a person’s planet is on our angles, and they excite or attract us in some way, they are likely to always do so. It isn’t the same with planetary pairings, who often learn their lessons and move on. The immediate attraction with angles often remains stimulating long after that Venus-Mars trine between the charts has become ho hum. Couples who are still holding hands after long decades together often have lots of angle contact, or angles emphasized in the composite chart. They still feel the initial ‘buzz.’ (Of course, this can go both ways. If there is someone irritating you with a difficult planet, or if your angle is hitting something uncomfortable in the other chart, you’ll feel that, too.)

Inner Planets to Angles

On the whole, inner planets to angles are a positive thing, unless the planet is very troubled in the other chart. We get to know that planet intimately through another being. The planet person feels that planet enhanced and made stronger and louder through the contact. All aspects matter, but mainly we should be paying attention to the conjunction (and, by natural course, the opposition) and the square. These connections get even juicier if the planet involved is also an angle ruler, particularly of the Ascendant or Descendant.
Here’s a quick overview of the inner planets to angles:
  • The Sun on any angle brings feelings of acceptance, warmth and a kind of creative liberation (I celebrate myself).
  • The Moon falling on an angle brings a powerful intimacy, and a sense of feeling known and understood.
  • Mercury on an angle stimulates the desire and ability to connect and share, and will mitigate any communication issues there may be between the charts.
  • Venus stimulates pleasure, appreciation and often a sense of beauty in the other and in ourselves.
  • Mars brings fire and desire to any angle it touches. It makes us feel alive. Aside from the sexual component, it provides a great stimulus to get things going.

Aspects to the IC/MC

We’re used to using the Ascendant/Descendant as the compass for relationship, but aspects to the IC/MC can be just as profound. When the IC is contacted, the other person feels like home to us. I’ve known him/her forever; words are not necessary (unless you have Gemini on the IC). Like the Descendant, the IC carries a bit of shadow to it. It isn’t the most open of houses. We take refuge in our IC; we keep our secrets there. It’s where we feel safe. We may welcome someone’s Sun or Moon or Jupiter there, but feel less sure whether we want to let Mars in, when he comes knocking. The IC symbolizes our seat of power, the place we are most deeply ourselves, and we can feel vulnerable, if that is exposed. Contacts to our IC from another person’s planet can either inspire a deep sense of belonging, or cause us to feel endangered and at risk.

Back in the days when social status was destiny (particularly for women), it is easy to see how the MC played a part in marriage and relationships. The MC represented your status in the community. A good marriage gave you status, and a partner whose Sun fell on your MC would fit the bill nicely. We like to think that that kind of thing doesn’t occur anymore, but we all know it does. Status can play a huge part in our choice of mate. When the MC is stimulated by another person’s planet we can feel newly awakened, ambitious and alive. This person’s perception of me is just what I wished my idea of myself could be. The MC plays a huge part in whether or not we achieve our potential. Synastry contacts there assure that our partner is our support and/or stimulus to our dreams. The MC is also emphasized when material security is an issue. This is particularly true if a woman is not in touch with her own masculine energy (Sun, Mars, Saturn). If she has problems ‘owning’ these planets, the quick fix is to marry them, and often there are contacts from the masculine planets to the MC when this occurs.

Angles in Action

Now, imagine that we’re walking around the earth with our angles sticking out, hungry for experience and life’s encounters. We meet someone whose Venus conjuncts our Descendant. This person seems to be perfection personified, the embodiment of everything we’ve ever valued or desired—everything lovely, in fact, that isn’t us. Now, if Mars is there instead of Venus, it’s more directly sexual. The shiver of attraction could be palpable. We may love the way this person does things—how he or she moves, walks, breathes. We feel the steam, no matter what sign, no matter what other aspects it may make. The person feels to us, deep down, as if s/he is our natural mate, and we can’t wait to get to him or her.

Of course, angles tend to exaggerate whatever touches them, so if our supposed ‘ideal’ of Venus/Descendant above also has Pluto opposite that Venus, and falling on our Ascendant, the power struggles inherent in the person’s Venus-Pluto tussle will profoundly affect my sense of myself, and my relationships. We will still feel the Venus, but it will be deeper and darker and slightly threatening, though we will feel no less attracted. We may be put through the wringer, but later will realize that the relationship taught us a great deal about our own inner strength, and the values that we attach to partnership.

I know of one couple where her Descendant ruler, Mars, is conjunct his Descendant, and his Descendant ruler, Uranus, is conjunct her Ascendant. These two have one of the most incompatible synastries I’ve ever seen, in terms of inter-aspects between charts, but the relationship has been running for some time on the fire of this attraction, backed with a couple of positive progressions. It’s also a powerful magnet if the Ascendant or Descendant rulers conjunct in any way. It makes us feel as if the other person plays a major part in our becoming whole.

Our angles can convey the very essence of what we need for fulfillment, and can reach out to connect to the essence of another. If you want to be a true student of synastry, closer analysis of your angles will give you greater insight into your attractions and teach you valuable lessons about sustaining relationships.

Astrological Degrees and Fixed Stars

0-1 Degrees of all signs signify the beginning of important events in one's life with predictive astrology, such as solar and lunar returns.

29 Degrees of all signs bring about the ending of events in the life, such as relationships, leaving a place of residence and so forth with predictive astrology, such as solar and lunar returns.

0-1 Degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are extremely critical degrees, both in predictive and natal astrology. These are the four cardinal signs; the solstice points of the Zodiac. What has begun may or may not last. Cardinal signs indicate strong beginnings, but lack the stability of the fixed signs or the adaptability of the mutable signs. 0 -1 of Libra oftentimes signifies the beginning of a relationship in predictive astrology. The affairs ruled by the planets on these degrees, the houses they are posited in and the house cusps with the sign they rule in a natal chart, are usually of significant importance in the life.

0 -1 Degrees of Taurus is always permanent, in prediction, for better or for worse.

0 -1 Degrees of the other fixed signs: Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are long lasting. Fixed signs signify permanence, stability, and things that last. In predictive astrology, what has begun will more than likely last.

0 -1 Degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are beginnings subject to change. Mutable signs always signify adaptability, restlessness, and change. They can be vacillating and weak. In predictive astrology, what has begun is subject to change.

29 Degrees of Pisces signifies a permanent ending in predictive astrology, as is 29 degrees of Taurus.

13 and 26 Degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn give special importance to the planet/s or house cusps occupying the degree. The affairs ruled by the planets, the affairs ruled by the houses ruled by the planets, or by the houses these degrees are on point to something of the above-mentioned occurring in the life of the chart owner.

9 and 21 Degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius have a tendency to misfortune. 21 Degrees of Scorpio is a definitely a degree of loss, both natally and in prediction, but the loss is not always negative.

4 and 17 of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are similar to the 13 and 26 Degrees of the Cardinal signs.

15 Degrees of Leo is one of the worst degrees in the zodiac, either natally or in prediction. Prominent in the charts of serial killers, felons serving life sentences, in the charts of those who have fated hard luck, etc. Helen Keller, both blind and deaf from a very early age had her chart co-ruler Mars at 15 degrees of Leo, along with no air signs. [Air signs are communication]. Stevie Wonder [blind] Pluto at 15 degrees of Leo, Ludwig van Beethoven, deaf, Saturn at 15 degrees of Leo.

25 degrees of Leo is violent, and some who have this are in prison for violent crimes, especially those with their chart rulers on this degree. In addition, this is not a good degree for a planet to be on in a predictive chart. Problems will result from this placement according to the affairs it rules and/or house it is in. This is a very strong degree of alcoholism. Many who are chronic alcoholics have prominent planets on the 25th degree of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius. The influence is especially strong if Neptune is involved.

15 Degrees of Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius are also unfortunate, but not to the extent as 15 degrees of Leo, one of the worst degrees in the Zodiac.

16, 17, 18, 19, 22, and 25 Degrees of Taurus are all degrees of violence.

9 Degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius are both degrees of homicide.

17 Degrees of Gemini is degree of homicide.

6 Degrees of Cardinal signs: Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Aries indicates a possible physical disability, and to a lesser extent, especially if the planet occupies the first house, is prominent and/or other factors in the chart support this.

6 Degrees of Leo and 6 degrees of Aquarius are both very bad for eyesight.

12 Degrees of Leo is a degree of beauty.

9 Degrees of Virgo and Pisces are known as fatal degrees, body in the ditch degrees and degrees of suffering.
9 degrees of Pisces is one of the worst degrees in the Zodiac.

9 Degrees of Sagittarius is a warrior degree, and is also a degree of homicide. Prominent planets on this degree are also seen in the charts of religious and spiritual reformers.

22 degrees of all signs, especially the fixed signs is bad, either natally or in prediction.

FIXED STARS: Allow 1 - 2 degrees orb for conjunctions and oppositions to other planets. Conjunctions and oppositions are the only aspects that matter, with conjunctions being most important. The following interpretations concern when a fixed star is conjunct a planet in one's chart or an angle or is prominent. The nature of the planet also should be blended in with the nature of the fixed star. Personal planets such as chart ruler/s and angles are important, with the influence of the fixed star being emphasized in both the life affairs and in the personality.

The four most prominent fixed stars are:

Astrological Relationship Analysis & Compatibility

By Marlena Applebaum

“A mystic will seek to penetrate the veils through constant and arduous meditation practice, whilst the lover, through his feelings for the beloved, will arrive there in his heart. In this sense, human relationship is spiritual practice, with benefits of equal value.”~Robert P. Blaschke

Astrological relationship analysis is one of my favorite areas of study. While astrological knowledge certainly can’t give any guarantees about whether a relationship will be “successful” or not, it can provide insights into the everyday dynamics of a relationship as well as give some clues about the underlying spiritual journey two people have together. Below is a compilation of gems I have gleaned from my studies as well as observations taken from client experiences and personal experience.

The three main ways I investigate relationships:
  1. Synastry: This is the comparison of two individual’s natal charts to understand how they affect one another, including aspects between the charts (for example: A’s Sun is conjunct B’s Moon) and house overlays (for example: A’s Sun falls into B’s 11th house, B’s Moon falls into A’s 7th house).
  2. The Composite chart (the midpoints of A’s & B’s respective planets and angles): This is an illustration of the relationship itself, i.e., the third entity that is created when the two come together (interpreted like a birth chart, but representing the couple as a unit).
  3. Birth chart analysis — to determine individual propensities in relationship.

Some of the key elements I look at when considering attraction, harmony, and endurability:
  • 7th house overlays (the 7th house represents the partner, as well as how the native relates within partnerships): for example, what part of A’s chart falls into B’s 7th house and vice versa; and noting what other houses are overlaid by the other person’s planets and angles — showing main areas of focus in the relationship (such as home, career, finances, or spirituality).
  • Ascendant contacts — represent strong attraction indicators and show love & affection.
  • Descendant contacts — represent the marriage bond and partnership needs.
  • Aspects between personal planets, especially the Sun & Moon, and Venus & Mars —show yin/yang complementarity, attraction, and compatibility.
  • The ratio of harmonious to disharmonious aspects between the two individuals and within the composite chart — harmonious aspects give the feeling of being loved effortlessly, whereas disharmonious aspects require growth and change. It is said that a two-to-one ratio of harmony to disharmony is desired to make the relationship sustainable, yet too much harmony can lead to stagnation and lack of personal and spiritual growth. The challenge is working out how to tally this ratio. I am still experimenting with different methods.
  • Whether the chart rulers are in aspect and if so, what type of aspect is it, as this represents a key dynamic between the two individuals.
  • Whether the chart ruler of one is conjunct the horizon of the other — represents a strong compatibility indicator.
  • Sun conjunct Venus in the composite chart — indicates a foundation of love in the relationship.
  • The aspects that the composite chart makes to the two individuals charts — shows how each individual experiences the relationship.
  • Planets in the 7th house of the composite chart, or the lack thereof.
  • Nodal & vertex contacts — to consider past life links, karma, and “fate”
  • Saturn trines between the two show longevity; the Saturn placement in the other’s chart or the composite shows where there is responsibility, seriousness, and duty towards the other, but can also represent limitations or heaviness in the relationship.
  • Transits and progressions for the individuals as well as to the composite to consider timing and ripeness/receptivity towards love and relationship.
  • The Sabian symbol for the degree of the composite chart ascendant — illustrates a subtle, symbolic flavor of the relationship.
  • Aspect configurations between the charts and in the composite — reveals special features about the relationship.
These points might seem like exacting requirements, but it is amazing how often couples do indeed exhibit many of them (of course not all are seen in every relationship)!
Opportune times for love (some examples):
  • Transiting Jupiter through the 5th house (romance), 7th house (partnership), and 8th house (emotional and physical intimacy/bonding) — correlates with opportunity and abundance in these areas.
  • Transiting Jupiter conjunct Venus — correlates with an opportunity for love
  • Progressed Venus trine progressed Jupiter — same as above.
  • Progressed Moon conjunct natal Venus — the heart is ready.
  • Synastric timing: for example, progressed Sun of one conjunct natal Venus or natal Moon of the other or progressed Ascendant conjunct natal Ascendant of the other — shows a synchronization between the two, and often reveals the time of meeting.
Key elements to analyze in the birth chart:
  • The sign on the 7th house cusp and planets in the 7th — signify the type of partner who will be a complement, and in general, the experience the individual has of partnership, as well as the way one is as a partner, oneself. Also, is the individual owning or projecting their 7th house of “other”?
  • The ruler of the 7th house — provides further information of the above.
  • The condition of Venus, who presides over love and attraction, gives ideas about inherent relationship dynamics for the individual.
  • Traditionally the sign, placement, and aspects of the Sun and Mars in a woman’s chart give clues about the partner she will seek.
  • Traditionally the sign, placement, and aspects of the Moon and Venus in a man’s chart give clues about the partner he will seek.
  • The sign and placement of the asteroid, Juno (Hera), who presides over marriage, gives information about what is desired and needed in a marriage partner.

Some of the best information I have found about synastric comparison and the composite chart:
“No amount of love can continually offset lack of harmony in a relationship… It is highly recommended that a minimum ratio of two harmonious aspects to one disharmonious aspect be present when comparing the planets of two individuals involved…”  and
“The composite chart is the ‘bottom line.’ If the composite chart is very harmonious, whereas the planetary comparison is not, there is a possibility the relationship can survive… It would also be wise to remember the two-to-one ratio in composites.” ~Nance McCullough

“The Sun, ascendant, or Moon of partner A in partner B’s 7th house makes B feel that A is his/her ideal for a mate; i.e. you are my epitome!” ~Nance McCullough

“Regarding angular love ties (Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter of one partner in the 1st and/or 7th house of the other partner) — these ties are felt immediately and are very strong from the beginning… Planetary conjunctions and close trines of the Sun, Moon, Venus, or Jupiter and trines to the ascendant have no impact at first, but every time these two individuals are together, the love between them grows more and more until ‘death due us part.’” ~Nance McCullough

“Sun-Moon conjunctions are the Cadillac of all synastry aspects for marriage, with the trine between the Luminaries, or a Sun-Ascendant conjunction, tying for second place.”~Robert P. Blaschke

“Sun, Moon, Venus, or Mars in one horoscope in the sign ascending or descending in the other horoscope is an astrological testimony of a strong attraction… Unless the Ascendant or Descendant of one horoscope combines with the planets of the other by sign, it is doubtful that the attraction would result in marriage.” ~Lois Haines Sargent

“Contacts with the Ascendant are rather physical and instinctive, and always instantaneous. Contacts with the luminaries are deep and virtually potent.” ~www.astrotheme.com

“The stronger the love tie, the more ecstatic the union. Once you have experienced a fantastic close Venus tie with someone’s Sun, Moon, ascendant, or Jupiter, you will never be satisfied with less.” ~Nance McCullough

“I always take an aspect between the ruling planets (i.e., the rulers of their Ascendants) as a testimony to the fact that the two people are likely to have a relationship of extraordinary intensity and importance… The close interaction of the ruling planets’ energies can be seen as indicative of a particularly specific symbol of how the two people interact with each other… in the vast majority of such cases, all of the other levels of interaction shown in a comparison will be secondary to the intense type of interchange symbolized by the aspect between the rulers.” ~Stephen Arroyo

“The composite chart describes the entity of the relationship itself. When you consider the aspects between the composite chart and the birthcharts, concentrate on the effect that the entity of the couple, symbolized by their composite chart, has on the individual birthcharts.” ~Steven and Jodie Forrest

“It appears that the aspects to the Sun are the heart and soul of any partnership, and, as a composite Sun goes, so goes a relationship.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

“According to many sources, lack of a 7th house composite planet precludes marriage.”~Nance McCullough

“[L. Edward Johndro] felt that the Vertex was the electrical, the Ascendant the magnetic and the MC the gravity axis in a natal chart.” ~Alice Portman

“The astrologer should look for any synastric aspect configurations… Just as marriage vows state that both parties take each other for better or for worse, so too, do shared configurations manifest in either a positive or negative fashion… If a Grand Cross, T-square, or Yod are formed by synastry, then the couple, just by being together, will encounter unexpected stress factors in the relationship… When a Grand Trine is produced by synastry, couple can appear to withdraw into a cocoon, a sort of private world… Couples with synastry Stelliums live as if they are one unified being, made whole by their love.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

Some of the best information I have found about past life links and karmic relationships:
“Ancestral and family karma is found in the 4th house, the karma of loss in the 8th house, and spiritual emancipation in the 12th house… The deepest karmic lessons are usually accompanied by pain and suffering. Can the astrologer see this type of karmic lesson between a couple? Yes, it would be found with an overlay Sun, Moon, or Saturn in the 8th house, with the planets also in synastric square or opposition.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

“When I see a synastric conjunction from one person’s Light or planet to the partner’s natal IC, I interpret it as a past life family connection… The 12th house symbolizes the most recent past life and a synastric conjunction with the 12th cusp is an indicator of two souls having been together in their most immediate past lives. However, the South Node represents the ongoing spiritual growth for as many as seven past incarnations. If the astrologer sees a synastric conjunction to the South Node, he knows that two souls have had a long history.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

“The South Node conjunct a planet is supposedly very karmic and implies that the South Node individual owes the planet individual a debt or service from a previous life.”~Nance McCullough
“One of the jokes that I told is how one, when seeing that another soul has planets on their South Node, instinctively reaches for their wallet and asks, ‘how much do I owe you?’” ~Robert P. Blaschke

“When astrologers see synastric or composite conjunctions to a North Node, they can view this as a karmic credit. In the case of synastry, however, the planet person will repay the Node person in some positive way. When found in the composite chart, couples will have positive karma… As a general rule, the astrologer can interpret synastry conjunctions to the South Node that are not also accompanied by a conjunction to the North Node, as the karma of conscious completion… If there is also a North Node conjunction, astrologers can view this as an ongoing soul connection, continuing into the next life together.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

The Vertex: “This sensitive degree in the horoscope has been associated with fated love, and appears to symbolize relationship brought into one’s life for karmic purposes, such as for the birth of a child, or a life-changing transformative journey together.” ~Robert P. Blaschke

Asteroid Karma

ASTEROID KARMA (3811) in the signs
============================================

Note: 3811 adds up to 13, the date on which this Asteroid was discovered. He who masters 13 is given great power.

Karma can indicate a negative balance or positive balance.
Negative Karmic events are like accidents, heart breaks, exposure to outbursts that seem unfair and financial losses.                                             Positive Karmic events are sudden strokes of good fortune, chance meetings with a true love and so on.
Retrograde Karma means you dished out more negative karma than positive karma in the mentioned areas.

Karma squared by Mars or Saturn or Pluto is a typical indicator of negative karma. Karma trine Jupiter or Venus or Sun is a typical sign of positive karma. One must look carefully in the natal chart and come to the conclusion.

Karma in Aries:
===============
Destined for balance in creative impulses, egotism, self absorption [Did you pay enough attention to self in the past lives?], head wounds [being safe or getting them], argumentativeness, entrepreneurship in business ventures [Did you scuttle someone's business in the past life? Did you motivate to help someone succeed?] , independence and family values reform.

Karma in Taurus:
================
Destined for balance in establishing a family, accumulating possessions, patience in projects [Did you stifle others projects in the past? Did you enable other's projects to proceed speedily in the past life?], enjoying creature comforts [Did you enjoy too much? Too less?],
reacting to family survival mechanisms and coming to terms with musical talent.

Karma in Gemini:
================
Destined for balance in the intellectual and communicative plane. Did you talk too much in the past? Was the talk useful or harmful? Did you deceive using fast wit? Did you write enlightening literature or books of facts?
This placement also indicates experiences that help the individual guide social reform.
A hidden law may help many innocents reclaim dues and one with Karma in Gemini may be destined to research this data and be of so much use to thousands. In the past life he may have been cheated because of ignorance.

Karma in Cancer:
================
Destined for balance in emotions, financial security and basic survival. The Native may not have attained any financial security nor had a decent home life in the past. Karmic debts to the native are in getting money, home, emotional nurturing from the mother figure. Had he abused these, then he may have to pay others financial dues, nurture others and give emotional empathy to others because he did not do so in the past. Treating your mother well can be part of the destiny. This Native in the highest level can pay his dues by initiating child welfare, creche, reforms in maternal care, soup kitchens or be a philanthropist who gives away interest free loans.

Karma in Leo:
=============
In the Positive sense, this Native is very likely to have been a total pussycat in the past lives. Time to roar, time to be forced into expressing some creative aspect of Self, to wallow in the ego and enjoy romance and luck in gambling. Negatively aspected or retrograde, this means balancing experiences that cause the ego to suffer, public insults, shut ups, failure in speculation and lack of romance in life due to abuse of personality in the past lives.

Karma in Virgo:                                                                                                                                                                            =============
Destined to balance health issues, critical studies, routine work. Were you a miserly boss who made workers suffer? Did you neglect your health in the past? Did you work as a nurse who selflessly toiled?
Depending on the good or bad of the past and the positive or negative of the present, this can be a very useful placement. Career success is assured for one who builds on the positive karma.

Karma in Libra:                                                                                                                                                                                            =============
One of the most challenging placements. Destined to Balance and balance and balance, mentally or physically.
Every thought that is wrong may instantly be balanced by contradictory evidence. You may judge someone as wicked and proof may come that he is good. Watch out for guilt trips and pricks to the conscience. Best to never judge or label anyone but instead objectively analyze and assess with disclaimers.
Negative karmic experiences here include heart breaks owing to being too flirtatious in the past. Positive debts may mean a wonderful spouse and relationship in this life, wonderful surroundings and so on.

Karma in Scorpio:                                                                                                                                                                        =============
A rogue occultist or a dedicated surgeon? A black magician or a healer? A monk or a sex maniac/mass murderer? A challenging placement that can help fate plan a powerful destiny or a punishment of sinking to the lowest depths of despair. Emotional control is the ally for this native. Letting emotional hatred go out of control will set up a vicious cycle of karmic debts that never benefit anyone.
Forgiveness is a fantastic asset. These natives must master breath control, meditation and some form of social service, at least mentally.

Karma in Sagittarius:                                                                                                                                                                                    =============
Were you a religious fundamentalist or a social reformer? A corporate cheat or a philanthropist? Watch for experiences that balance your clumsiness, your kindness, your luck, your manner of speech and your friendships. If you are unkind in words even if you meant otherwise, the asteroid Karma will still make you feel the other persons emotions at your words.
In the highest level, such people can become great religious reformers.

Karma in Capricorn:                                                                                                                                                                    =============
A very difficult placement. Retrograde and negatively aspected  might  indicate a corporate white collar criminal or big billionaire conspirator against the masses in a past lifeline. Greedy Ambition and status consciousness that sacrifices ethics and truth leads to humbling balances in this life. The native must practice generosity, inner and outer. He must treat all people with respect and must not be condescending to others. No misdeeds like ratting on fellow employees for promotions, for instant karmic punishment will follow. One must be wary of taxation problems and legal problems.
The Native must balance career and affection to family, and not let career be the only objective in life. Once positive loops are set and old karmic debts erased, this placement can bring large financial rewards. This will then become the new test. Is social service funded with the rewards? Is egotistical reputation concern mellowed? Is Status still given importance or character of people? Is ambition under control or do the past bad habits of power trips raise their ugly head again?
These natives can become Nation Builders or Global Corporate/Financial/Legal Reformers in the highest positive level.

Karma in Aquarius:
=============
Destined to balance their capabilities for humanitarian causes and to find guidance for individual reform. Were you a thinker who was too lazy? A mad scientist? An eccentric engineer who burnt his inventions because he did not get a patent? These natives will be prodded in this life with experiences that settle the old debts of neglect and inspire ideas of benefit. Negatively, they may have made many people uncomfortable with unrestrained wildness/rebelliousness in the name of individual freedom and in this life, their freedom may be curtailed. One must be wary of sudden events and accidents if there is a square to Uranus or Mars.
Karma in Pisces:
================
The end of the karmic wheel! A native who could have transcended the highest Spiritual
realms of ecstasy or crawled through life as an alcoholic or drug abuser. This placement may also indicate that the native had mislead others in tpics of spirituality or deceived others by misusing compassion. Positively, this can be a native who was so selfless in thought and deed that this life will give a balance in the form of true knowledge or opening of the third eye/psychic powers and higher states of consciousness. Retrograde Karma here could mean chances of psychiatric illness, schizophrenia and more drug abuse. Great honesty, objectivity and self mastery is needed in this case for setting up the positive karmic loops to enable Neptunian rewards from this Asteroid placement.
