Born On Compatible Days

Ancient and Medieval astrologers assigned planets to the days of the week and the hours of the days. The real origin of this 'planetary calendar' is unknown but this goes way back to Babylonian astrologers.

Today, this method is not so much used any longer, except perhaps, in horary astrology.

There are 7 calendar days and 7 'planets' (not taking into account the invisible generational planets and counting the Lights, the Sun and the Moon as planets).

Each 'planet' thus rules a day.

There is an old poem or rhyme that goes as follows:
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

If you 'translate' this poem into astrological language we get the following rulerships:
The Moon rules Mondays
Mars rules Tuesdays
Mercury rules Wednesdays
Jupiter rules Thursdays
Venus rules Fridays
Saturn rules Saturdays
The Sun rules Sundays

Planets have affinities or friendships, like the zodiac signs. Some zodiac sign combos match better, get on better than others and so do the planets.

The introvert, sensitive and domestic Moon seldom gets on well with extravert, flamboyant and outdoorsy Jupiter, for example.

In compatibility analysis between two people, the day of birth of the persons therefore matters.

If you are born on a compatible day, according to the planetary rulers, you are better off than when your days don't match at all.

The importance of this method should not be overrated though but it may add some weight to an already difficult relationship.

Also, the days that don't match at all (the extremes or worst days) often work out more prominently and powerfully. Some days (and rulers) are just more neutral, indifferent and work out less powerfully towards each other.

What are the most (in)compatible days?

If you are looking for the most compatible day, go for a partner who is born on the very same day as yours!

The next best day and the worst day are as follows:

Sunday:
next best day: Monday
worst day: Saturday

Monday:
next best day: Tuesday
worst day: Friday

Tuesday:
next best day: Sunday
worst day: Wednesday

Wednesday:
next best day: Friday
worst day: Thursday

Thursday:
next best day: Friday
worst day: Monday

Friday:
next best day: Thursday
worst day: Tuesday

Saturday:
next best day: Friday
worst day: Sunday

Juno in signs

Juno defines where you seek commitment, harmony and balance. It helps understand where you balance the need for commitment and intimacy with personal freedom and can help you identify the kind of marriage partner you attract or how you perceive their qualities. In many ways it explains your own behaviour within committed relationships and the path you walk to bring physical expression towards spiritual understanding within the union.

Juno in Aries: You need to express your strength and your independence within a commitment and you are likely to experience a form of competition with mates and partners. You see your partners as viable opponents, comrades and fellow pioneers and need to feel their enthusiasm for your quests and adventures. You tend to be the dominant one within relationships and work on expressing your creative power and imagination through role-playing and the balance of harmony. You work through your intimate expressions with a dedication to surmounting new plateaus of understanding, physical experience and vibrancy. You often grapple with the concepts of commitment-independence wanting one and then the other until you are comfortable both in pursuing your own needs and experiences and allowing your partner to venture their own path.

Juno in Taurus: Your ideal of commitment is steady, dedicated, grounded and loyal. You want a solid and harmonious union that can stand the test of time. You are not particularly adventurous as a partner but enjoy sensual pleasures that are created by true bonds and shared goals. You see your partners as supplying the strength and the support to your life. You are dedicated and faithful when you invest your heart and expect the same of your lover. You can be possessive and controlling and/or attract those qualities in a mate. The thought of independence can often scare you as it applies to both commitment and freedom and is an area that you will tend to focus on as you share your life with a partner. You hold a very solid and unmoveable ideals around commitments and are willing to stand for them.

Juno in Gemini: Your ideal commitment is versatile, active and involves a heavy exchange of ideals, thoughts and camaraderie. You are likely to use a platform of friendship to cement bonds and see your partner as an independent spirit capable of pursuing their own needs and ideas likewise you have a need to be able to follow your thoughts and dreams and pursue them through various activities and friendships. You can suddenly grow nervous and high strung when aspects of partnerships seem unclear or lose their 'fit'. Communication on both sides is an important component to work at and allows misunderstandings to be cleared before they can cause trouble.

Juno in Cancer: Your ideal partnership is one of safety, traditions and nurturing. You like to care for and be cared for. You tend to attach emotionally and/or attract the same from partners. You commit with body, heart and soul to unions and very much take on the wounds and needs of your partner often to their dismay. You can need a lot of attention and are prone to feeling invalid or unfulfilled if you are not supplying your own emotional needs and independence. Personal independence (either your own or your partners) can leave you feeling insecure and is an area that needs to be fortified. Your love is unending and protective and usually eternal.

Juno in Leo: You need an emotional, dramatic and fulfilling partner who can express himself with style and genuine feeling. You create a regal setting for commitments and are generous, generally devoted and loving. You enjoy feeling special and being treated with care and dignity and return the efforts without second thought. Your attachment to a partnership is secure as long as you feel appreciated and not taken for granted. You like being seen and letting others know your commitments and your partners. You see your mate as the 'king'....strong and protective with high ideals and vision. If he falls short you can feel abandoned or disillusioned. You seldom turn back once you have made an emotional decision regarding a partnership.

Juno in Virgo: You need a commitment that is structured, steady and supportive. You expect a mate to help you heal both personal wounds and their own wounds through the interactions and through the union itself. You have high ideals of virtue and loyalty and hold them for yourself as well as for your partner. You need to feel appreciated in your efforts to keep the bond vibrant and you are not afraid to invest the work that makes a commitment long lasting and viable. You are supportive and expect to be supportive. You balance intimacy with freedom by focusing on your job, work or career goals and do not tolerate being pulled from your sense of duty and obligation. You expect your partner to hold his own responsibilities up first and foremost.

Juno in Libra: Your ideal partnership is refined, romantic and physically and verbally expressive. You need a mate who is balanced, artistic and even-tempered. You tend to see your partner as being the centring factor of your world and learn to balance your own needs, desires and thoughts with your love of outer harmony and peace. You learn to honour your strong spirit without repressing your style while embracing and enjoying the differences you share and the spark of life that creates both friction and ease between you and your partner. You want and will seek out a certain equality within your relationships and you cannot tolerate injustice or unfairness. Your mate will also tend to be poetic and noble, with intelligence and gentleness.

Juno in Scorpio: You require a mate who is passionate, loyal, attentive and strong. Your greatest work is done in the area of independence and possessiveness learning that personal freedom does not weaken the bond nor the level of trust that grows through time and faith. Your long-term partners will tend to be both penetrating and controlling, sensual and magnetic and will usually be quiet and secretive rather than overtly mysterious or powerful. Partners can tend to be demanding and high maintenance and loyalty and trustworthiness are ongoing issues and growing fields. Sexuality is an important playing field for relationship growth and understanding and must never be used as a tool of battle but rather as a committed way to explore the unions of hearts and bodies.

Juno in Sagittarius: Your mate will tend to be liberal and outspoken, philosophical and competitive. You see your relationships as joyful Mecca's to explore the delights of the world and both demand and give personal freedom and independence. You balance a need to experience life on your own terms with sharing your ideals and visions with your life partner. Spiritual horizons are areas to explore together and provide a sense of competition and shared camaraderie that can strengthen your commitment to one another. Your mate is likely to have an avid interest in sports, competitions, law, philosophy, spirituality or the outdoors. This is shared ground that can help you build towards the future and keeps the relationship lively and renewed.

Juno in Capricorn: Your ideal partner will be somewhat conservative, with an ability to uphold responsibilities and obligations. You have strong beliefs and principals attached to unions and committed relationships and will believe in loyalty, trust and security. Your partner may be somewhat reserved and find it hard to express emotions or you may play that role yourself in your partnerships. You tend to wait before committing but generally have long lasting unions that grow stronger as time passes. You are likely to experience 'young love' later in life and may marry relatively late. You have an earthy and grounded sexuality that is exciting and captivating to your mate.

Juno in Aquarius: Your mate will tend to be freedom oriented, progressive, friendly rather than passionate, insecure in personal and romantic expressions and concerned with ideals and progress. Likewise you tend to react with spontaneity and impulsiveness within your committed relationships and are distressed at the thought of losing personal independence and freedom. You need a friend, a comrade and someone who can at least understand your need for constant new ideas, mental challenges and altruistic goals. Equality is an important word to you and is an area that will capture your focus and your attention as you learn to adjust to working together towards shared causes. Your relationships will tend to be trendsetters and unique in some obvious way setting them apart from the traditional forms of commitments.

Juno in Pisces: Your partners will tend to be imaginative and poetic dreamers. They are feeling and emotional beings who are likely to have difficulties adjusting to what feel like the harsh realities of the world. In the same manner you can be emotional and attached to your partners and use your commitments as safe haven that shelters you from the environment. You need to balance your ability to love unconditionally with self-love and self-faith. Commitments are spiritual fields that allow you to tap into both your inner resources of visions, feelings and intuitions. You seek security and inner peace through your intimate interactions.

Juno in synastry

Source: http://starscopestoday.wordpress.com/2012/11/09/juno-in-synastry/

In Astrology, Juno represents the “good wife”. According to the myth, Juno was Jupiter’s wife. He cheated on her, yet she still stayed with him, and fulfilled her traditional duties. Think of Juno as the “Eve” of Astrology. Consider Juno as the antithesis of Lilith; Juno is seen as the ‘wife’, while Lilith is seen as the ‘mistress.’ Juno remains loyal and faithful to Jupiter regardless of his indiscretions, while Lilith disallows any man to cross her.

In the natal chart, the house and sign placement of our natal Juno reveals the kind of person we are meant to marry. While Venus and Mars represent our ideal mate, Juno represents loyalty and attachment. Juno represents what we need in a mate, rather than simply who we are attracted to. Many astrologers have gone as far as to say Juno represents our true love or marriage partner.
Juno in Aries: Your partner will be fiery, direct, aggressive, and active.
Juno in Taurus: Your partner will be stubborn, stable, and physically attractive. This aspect can also indicate material prosperity after marriage.
Juno in Gemini: Your partner will be talkative, curious, and intelligent. This aspect sometimes indicates multiple marriages.
Juno in Cancer: Your partner will be sensitive, dependent, and emotional.
Juno in Leo: Your partner will be creative, egotistical, energetic, and full of life.
Juno in Virgo: Your partner will be hard-working, health-conscious, and critical. He might work in the health field.
Juno in Libra: Your partner will be attractive, loving, sociable, and well-mannered.
Juno in Scorpio: Your partner will be sexual, mysterious, and perhaps jealous.
Juno in Sagittarius: Your partner may come from a different locality or cultural background. You may meet your partner abroad. He will be philosophical, honest, and may be interested in higher learning.
Juno in Capricorn: Your spouse will be a corporate type. He might be older, and you may meet him later in your life (after your Saturn Return).
Juno in Aquarius: The partner will be original, independent, logical. You may meet through friends.
Juno in Pisces: Your partner will be dreamy, artsy, and imaginative. Make sure you don’t marry someone simply because you think he needs “help”!
When one person’s Juno is contacted by another person’s planet or point in synastry, a strong attachment is indicated. The planet person represents what the Juno person is looking for in a relationship. Indeed, Juno often figures strongly in the synastry charts of marriage couples. The conjunction and opposition are the strongest connections, while the trine and sextile are less potent, yet still effective.
Juno-Ascendant: The Juno person sees the Ascendant person as their ideal mate. The Ascendant person looks and projects herself how the Juno person envisions their marriage partner. Juno was likely instantly attracted to the Ascendant person.
Juno-Sun:  The Sun person’s basic nature expresses the qualities the Juno person is looking for in a partner. The Juno person sees the Sun person as their ideal mate. It is easy for the two of them to commit to each other on a fundamental level.
Juno-Moon: The Juno person feels attracted to and comfortable with the way the Moon person expresses their emotions. It is easy for the two of them to commit to one another on an emotional level.
Juno-Venus: The Juno person’s feelings of commitment are activated by the Venus person, and the Venus person finds an ideal partner in the Juno person. The Juno person feels the Venus person is their ideal mate, and it is easy for them to commit to each other on a romantic level.
Juno-Mars: The Juno person is attracted to the sexual charisma and assertiveness of the Mars person. It is easy for these two to commit to each other sexually. This aspect increases the chances of continuing to have great sex after marriage.
Juno-Jupiter: Juno and Jupiter are natural partners for one another. The Jupiter person expands Juno’s desire for commitment and marriage, and feels she has met her match in the Jupiter person. On the downside, the Jupiter person may make the Juno person suspicious of infidelity.
Juno-Saturn: The Asteroid of marital commitment meets the planet of commitment! Juno feels safe and secure with Saturn. Saturn stimulates Juno’s desire to settle down. As such, it is very easy for them to commit to each other.

According to a study, certain Juno aspects were commonly found in the synastry charts of married couples, including: Juno conjunct North Node, Juno conjunct Juno, Juno trine Venus, and Juno trine Mars.

Sun/Moon Midpoint

When one of your inner planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or important points (North/South Node, Vertex, Sun/Moon midpoint, Ascendant/Descendant, IC/MC axis) makes a hard aspect (conjunction, square, opposition) to another person’s Sun/Moon midpoint, a significant bond is indicated.

The Sun/Moon midpoint is a very sensitive point, which represents the synthesis of one’s ego expression and emotional energy. This point has been said to represent a point of “inner marriage” and represents our closest relationships, as it represents the synthesis of our masculine (Sun) and feminine (Moon) energies.
You’ll often find synastry aspects involving the Sun/Moon midpoint in the synastry charts of significant relationships. In this case, the planet person brings the Midpoint person’s feminine and masculine energies together, making them feel complete. The person whose Sun/Moon midpoint is activated is likely to feel more balanced around the planet person. You feel like you belong together, and the attraction is irresistible. The Midpoint person is generally the one who feels more attracted, based on this aspect.

Sun to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The Sun person’s inner being and overall personality make the midpoint owner feel content and complete. The midpoint owner is likely to feel they have met the “one” in the Sun person.

Moon to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The way the Moon person expresses her feelings makes the midpoint owner feel understood and loved. The midpoint owner is likely to feel comforted in the presence of the Moon person.

Mercury to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The way the Mercury person communicates makes the midpoint owner feels comfortable and understood. The midpoint owner is likely to feel accepted in the presence of the Mercury person.

Venus to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The way the Venus person shows affection, as well as Venus’ social graces and personal style, is very attractive to the midpoint person. The midpoint owner is likely to feel accepted and in love in the presence of the Venus person.

Mars to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The Mars person’s sexual charisma and assertiveness energizes the midpoint person. The midpoint person is likely to feel more proactive and assertive in the presence of the Mars person.

Ascendant to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The physical appearance of the Ascendant person is likely to make the midpoint person feel attracted, as well as secure in their own self-expression.

IC/MC axis to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: The career or status of the MC person is likely to help the midpoint owner succeed in their own career. In addition, since the IC is involved, the midpoint owner is likely to feel “at home” with the IC person.

North/South Node to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: This is a karmic connection. The Nodes represents one’s destiny. When this aspect is present in synastry, the union is fated, and the couple has a past-life connection.

Vertex to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: This aspect indicates a fated, karmic connection. The two of you feel as though you are meant to be with each other. This is likely to be a life-changing relationship.
